What exactly you're buying
Product: Retrace Pro — a one-time digital license that unlocks the Retrace Pro features inside the Retrace browser extension, listed below.
Price: $10.00, charged once. It is not a subscription and there are no recurring fees.
What it does: Retrace Pro adds several features, all on your own device:
- Listening — songs you play in the browser go into Retrace's Music library by themselves, counted per song, with an Artists view and Insights (top songs and artists, time listened, when you listen). It reads only tab titles, on your device. You can pause it, choose sites, and forget today's plays.
- Windows — keep closed windows for 30 or 90 days instead of 14, and have new tabs join the tab group on the same site.
- Backup & restore — export everything Retrace has stored to a file and merge it into Retrace on another device (the newer copy of anything wins; nothing is wiped); the export can be password-encrypted.
- Connected backup file — point Retrace at a file once and it keeps it in two-way sync, encrypted by default; put it in a synced folder (Dropbox/Drive/OneDrive) for cross-device continuity, with no Retrace servers.
- Custom keyboard shortcuts and a ⌘/Ctrl-K command palette to drive Retrace from the keyboard.
- Tidy up your library — merge overlapping sessions and clear duplicates and old ones, with Undo.
- Keep the recovery timeline for up to 30 days.
- Auto-archive old sessions automatically, and save reusable templates of tabs.
Delivery: after purchase you receive a license key by email, in the form RTRC-…. You paste it into Retrace › Settings › Backup & restore › Unlock to activate Retrace Pro. There is nothing to ship.
Platform: Retrace Pro works in both the Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge versions of Retrace (the same extension); one key unlocks it on the device you paste it into.
Payments: handled by Paddle, acting as the merchant of record. The Retrace extension is never involved in payment and never sees your payment details.
Refunds: full refunds within 14 days — see the Refund Policy. Full purchase terms are in the Terms of Sale.
